Zehong Zhang earned his Ph.D. from Johns Hopkins University. During his doctoral studies, he specialized in mathematics, with a focus on clustering prediction, observability analysis, and time series classification. Following graduation, he joined Yu lab for postdoctoral research, where his current research direction is predicting virus evolution, which is crucial for vaccine strain selection, antibody design, and various other public health applications.
